Family is important so we offer every Sunday Morning a class where both husbands and wives can come and study the Bible together as a couple.
We at HBC desire to provide opportunities for women to grow in their personal relationship with Christ through Bible studies, seminars, missions, fellowship, and other special events designed just for women. Our Weekly Ladies Bible Study and Tuesday Luncheon fellowships are just for starters. We also offer Beth Moore Bible studies, mission opportunities and Ladies retreats during the year.
At HBC We offer men's Bible studies, recreational opportunities, retreats, competition, and friendships. In addition to our Sunday Bible Study, the men meet every Monday evening in the fellowship hall for fellowship, food and a study of scripture. We have just finished our golf outing in the Anchorage "Golf Dome". We have our Chartered Halibut and King Salmon fishing trip planned for May, as well as a golf scramble in June. We are also active and always looking for guys who would like to join in our "Moose Ministry" where we work with the Alaska State Police in helping harvest moose and deliver the meat to charities. No matter what your interest, men - we have something for you.
In addition to our Sunday Morning Adult Bible studies, HBC also has small groups that meet during the week. Currently we have a group that meets on the lower Hillside at the Dillon's home. The Dillon's group is a discipleship group which focuses on training Christians to be growing disciples of Jesus Christ. Call the church office for more information about our small groups.
AWANA is for children from Preschool through the 6th Grade. Our Cubbies, Sparks and T&Ter's meet on Tuesday's at 6:00 pm.
