Southern Baptist Convention

Located on the Crystal Coast of Eastern North Carolina, Jacksonville is an area of tremendous growth and the Holy Spirit has positioned First Baptist Church since 1890 to be used to reach even more of our community with God's wonderful plan of salvation. The body of believers answered God's call to build to accommodate the wonderful problem of lack of space, and our current facility opened its doors in January 2002. We are located on the western side of Jacksonville, in the area of Onslow County's greatest growth. Reaching a broad spectrum of believers, we provide one contemporary worship experience on Saturday evening, one traditional and two contemporary worship experiences Sunday morning.
