Our Mission is to show the love of Jesus Christ to our community & surrounding areas by providing food & support to those in need. We strive to create a caring atmosphere in which every individual is treated with dignity, concern and love. It's our hope and prayer that those who receive food & clothing will be strengthened in body & soul.
Our desire is for you to have a place to belong, a community where you can connect with others in real relationships to help and encourage each other together to glorify God. There are many ministries and places you can get involved: Men's Breakfast Bible Studies, REAL Women's Ministry, Primetime Ministry, and MOPS-Mothers of Preschoolers Ministry are a few to name.
FBC Kids Ministry (Babies through 5th grade) covers a lot of ministry areas, from Sunday School to FBC Kids Worship to AWANA to Camp to Vacation Bible School to a whole lot more-we just want to help kids connect to God.
First Baptist Church wants to serve and support our local military families. When your spouse is deployed, we are here to help you. We want you to feel at home when you are with us. we will be here to pray and encourage you and your family.
Ladies of all ages meet together for special events throughout the year to encourage each other to glorify God through worship, commuity, & service. Ask about our Nourish 635 (John 6:35) groups that meet once a month at either a restaurant, coffee shop, or someone's home for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Our Nourish groups are about making friends and building relationships.
The Student Ministry (6th-12th Grade) seeks to make disciples, disciples of students, parents and leaders. We do this through fun, events, Sunday School, Wednesday night services and much more. We desire to equip and partner with parents to disciple their children.
The Worship Ministry of First Baptist Church exists to connect people to God through worship with “heart, soul, mind and strength.” Jesus said the Father seeks “true worshipers” who will worship in “spirit and truth” (John 4:23). The voices and instruments of FBC are committed to leading our congregation and guests to joyfully join in praise as we worship our Living God. We also realize that worship is more than just a gathering of believers; it is a lifestyle.
