Southern Baptist Convention

The Brook is a welcoming community of imperfect people! We love Jesus and as his followers we strive to live a God filled life by serving Him and others. We offer a blend of traditional praise & worship services led by Pastor Jon Harless. Our ministries include something for everyone. Our worship services are exciting and a great way to take the time to praise His name. We also spend a lot of time in God’s Word during our worship services, smaller life groups and prayer meetings. We have a caring nursery team, an age appropriate bible study for children, and a youth program. Join us this week while we all grow spiritually together!

Childrens Ministry

NURSERY Ages birth to 2 years old, offered for all worship times. SUNDAYS 10AM The children’s worship services are a fun and exciting time. We worship God with music and Bible lessons and use this as a time to catch up with friends. There is a preschool program for ages 2-5 and an elementary program for ages 5-10. SUNDAYS 5PM We use this gathering time to teach ages 2-11 the importance of prayer and then spend time with our prayer wall in prayer. WEDNESDAYS 7PM Ages 2-11 will love this fun bible study with object lessons and scripture memorization offered.

Outreach Ministry (Aqua 14)

This is The Brook’s outreach ministry. Our mission is to love Jesus by loving others, unconditionally. We desire to do all we can to serve the people of this community. Volunteers provide meals to the homeless every TUESDAY 6PM on the corner of streets Cedar and Liberty in Salisbury. We offer random acts of kindness with #justincase cards. Lastly we focus on showing the Love of Jesus Christ by focusing on local schools as well as our local law enforcement. Through all of this we hope to be a blessing and an example of Christ’s love to others. If you want toknow more or ways to serve please contact Jason Hinson. .

Senior Adult Ministry (JOY)

The JOY group meets monthly for a time of fun, fellowship, and devotion. On occasions, the group travels to places of interest in the local area.

Student/Youth Ministry

SUNDAYS 5PM Rapids: CLASS 6 meets every Sunday night in the youth room. We have an incredible time studying God’s Word. In depth discussions and scripture examination help find our path to being true disciples of The Lord. WEDNESDAYS 7PM Rapids: Vortex is our Wednesday night student time spent in worship and fellowship with others who have made the decision to follow Jesus! We also use this time to put into practice what it means to serve others through Christ with our many outreach activities.

Widows Ministry (WOW)

The Women of Worth (WOW) meets (usually at a local restaurant) on the third Thursday of the month at 6:30 P.M. for a time of fellowship, food, and devotion.
