First Philippine Baptist Church seeks to provide a place where people can find Christ, grow in Christ, and minister for Christ. We seek to minister through preaching, teaching, prayer, and music to every member of the church family. We reach out to children, youth, singles, couples, adults - men and women, and senior adults. Our ministry extends beyond our church building through our Satellite Bible study groups and other outreach programs. Our primary target group is the Filipino-American community in the greater Houston area. It is our vision that "every member of the Filipino-American community will hear the Gospel in order that they will come to a decision to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior; that their lives will be transformed and family relationships strengthened to the end that every Filipino-American child will be God-fearing and every home God-honoring."
