We extend a warm welcome to you and invite you to join us as we: Serve the Sandhills with the Heart of God. We are committed to preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are a family oriented church with many opportunities for you to learn about Jesus, the Bible, and our future home in heaven. We have many places of ministry in which you may get involved and find a place of service to your Lord and His body. We are the "First Family" of Valentine, attempting to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus in a loving way. It is our desire to minister to those around us, reaching out with the message of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Join us as we celebrate the Lord's work among us.

Church Ministries

Missions

We support many mission endeavors through prayer and monetary gifts throughout the year. We are active with Lottie Moon Christmas Offering (International Missions), Annie Armstrong Easter Offering (USA and Canada), our State Mission Offering (Kansas-Nebraska). We also support our local food pantry, our schools, are active within the Ministerial Association, provide a Fall Festival (Halloween Alternative), and celebrate 5 years of active participation with Operation Christmas Child.

Next Generation (Children & Youth)

Wednesdays: 6:30pm-8:00pm. We provide a meal at 6:30pm followed by Bible Classes and activities at 7:00pm. All young people are welcome ages preschool through 12 grade. We provide bus transportation for anyone needing a ride, call the office to make transportation arrangements. This is a great time for the young people to fellowship and grow in their walk with the Lord as they learn the Bible, pray, sing songs, and hang out together. Yearly: we offer opportunities for young people to attend camps, retreats, and social events.

Prayer Ministry

We love to pray for our church, community and world. We have many opportunities during the week to pray: Sundays (twice a month) after morning services, Wednesdays (adults pray while young people are in classes), and our prayer chain to share needs among the church family.

Sunday School (all ages)

Every Sunday at 9:30am we provide Bible classes for all ages (preschool-12th grade). We provide bus transportation to any young person needing a ride, please call the church office to make arrangements.

Women on Mission

A time of Christian growth and service for the women of the church. a grand time of fellowship each month. They spearhead the mission emphasis of the church.
