Located about five miles north of Campbellsville in the heartland of Kentucky, Saloma Baptist church is a progressive and growing church that is ministering to the community and world in the 21st century. The church has approximately 220 members and recently completed an expansion and renovation of facilities. Saloma Baptist Church provides worship, Bible study, fellowship, discipleship training, and ministry opportunities for all ages and maintains very close relations with nearby Campbellsville University. The church is ministry driven with ministry teams working in seven areas of church life. Recently named as a Global Priority Church by the International Missions Board of the Southern Baptist Convention, Saloma supports missions and ministries at the local, state, national, and international levels with more than 40% of all undesignated receipts going to a number of missions including Cooperative Program and Kentucky Baptist Convention. Worship services include Sunday morning worship at 11:00 a.m., Sunday evening worship at 6:00 p.m., and Wednesday evening prayer and Bible study at 7:00 p.m. Sunday School/Bible Study is held at 10:00 a.m. with 6:00 p.m. Sunday evening discipleship training for children and youth. A host of children, youth, and college age worship and ministry opportunities are held regularly.

Saloma Baptist Church has been named a Global Priority Church by the Southern Baptist International Missions Board in recognition of the church's missions and ministry emphasis. The church has adopted a missionary family serving in West Africa and the Soninke and Wolof people's groups in West Africa.
