The Southern Baptist Convention has a storied past and a promising future. Our cooperative efforts in ministry, theological training, and mission has untold potential for making disciples of all nations. However, the strength of our cooperation in the future will depend on how successfully we engage the next generation of pastors and leaders now.
With that concern in view, the SBC Young Leader Advisory Council was formed in late 2016 to analyze the state of SBC engagement with younger leaders. Our advisory council consists of a racially and geographically diverse group of pastors, collegiate ministers, national and statewide denominational workers, and seminary staff and faculty. The members of the advisory council represent a wide swath of convention life.View full-screen
